A Unique Blog!
Marie Larocque is not your average Canadian, but then again most Canadians are far from average. Marie on the other hand is unique for several reasons but mostly because for her love for Haiti. She currently lives in Jacmel and speaks fluent Creole, French and English. She has lived in Haiti for over 10 yrs and has two children that were born there and live with her in the land of mountains. She is a teacher and a translator, and has a very interesting perspective on Haitian culture. I encourage you to follow her blog it’s always an interesting read. Oh yeah it’s in French. :)
